BENEFITS WE OFFER

We want tell you about all the many benefits we offer with our travel insurance but also we want you to understand not only the great benefits we provide, but also the things that you may not be covered for. The below are a few of the main exclusions, there are others, please do read your terms and conditions to ensure that you are fully aware of your cover before you travel.

FOR EXAMPLE:

  • Any claim arising directly or indirectly from any medical conditions which existed before you took out this policy will not be covered unless you have declared it to us. However, we are happy to be able to provide cover for many pre-existing medical conditions.
  • We won’t cover any claim resulting from you being drunk or intoxicated (we don’t expect you not to drink whilst on holiday, but if you drink enough that your behaviour and reactions are affected, we will not cover you).
  • If you travel to places where an official body like the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in the UK, have advised against travel, or all but essential travel, then we won’t cover you for being there. This includes advice against travelling due to pandemics or epidemics (including covid-19). However, should you have a single trip policy for European travel only, this exclusion is not applicable if the FCDO advice relates to Covid-19. (What this means in practice is that whilst you won’t be covered to cancel your holiday if the FCDO advises against travel to a destination, if you do choose to travel against FCDO advice and need our help whilst you are on holiday, we will be able to provide it.)
